For nearly 50 years we have been bringing frozen goodies to the State of Hawai'i.

From the beginning, our practice and story is a local one. In Hawaii, it is our culture to provide the best service we can for our customers and to go beyond what is expected. That is our way and our ohana's way for the past 70 years.

1998

Continued Growth

With continued success, Eight Point Distributors move into a larger facility for company expansion.

In 1998, Eight Point Distributors moved to it's current location in Keehi Lagoon, Honolulu HI. With this new location, they expanded their truck delivery fleet and upgraded to a 24,000 sqft freezer facility. During this time, EPD opened new facilities on the islands of Kaua'i, Maui, and the Big Island.

1975

Our performance

The second generation look for expansion with ice cream and novelty products.

In 1975 they expanded to deliver a complete line of Carnation Ice Cream and Novelty products.

"8-Point Distributors" was founded and operated by Mr. and Mrs.' Fujimoto's son, Clifford T. Fujimoto (shown below). Along with sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sakamoto (Sr.), it become a family business.

Over forty years later Eight Point Distributors has become one of Hawaii's premiere Frozen and Refrigerated Food Distribution companies.

1949

Our performance

For over forty years, Eight Point Distributors has become one of Hawaii's premiere Frozen and Refrigerated Food Distribution companies.

In 1949 Mr. and Mrs. Shoichi Fujimoto opened a food produce store in Honolulu. They delivered produce to the local grocery stores around the island of Oahu.

Their success was based on the motto of helping their customers become successful. By doing so, they became known to deliver good products with great customer service.

For twenty-six years they ran a successful business with hard work and determination and continued to grow the produce distribution company.
